I spoke to Vodafone yesterday, I have an upgrade but not interested in anything available at the moment; the guy I chatted to said the N96 was going to be on their website today, but so far it hasn't been updated today anyway. HTH.

Correct me if im wrong but i think this phone is very bad value...

the tv function wont work here

a rep told me that the battery life will be slightly worse than n95

the processor is slower than the n95 8gb

so the only think it has going for it is more storage..

    or am i missing something?

Due an upgrade on 3 myself but holding out to see if they do the n85 - can't see anything compelling that the n96 brings to the party - at least the n85 builds on the n95 capabilities with the fm transmitter and the new screen.

I'd love to know the logic by which 3 choose their phones.

+1 on that. Can't think of any reason to get it over an N95 8gb.

Vastly increased storage capability? Larger screen than the n85?

<edit> and lots, lots more seemingly.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_N96#Major_differences_between_N95_and_N96 </edit>

whats the point in being able to sore 20 or so movies when you would be lucky if the battery lasted for one whole movie!?
