My tripod was in Cork and I had a 3yr old nephew clinging for life to me so I got like 3 pics of fireworks and this is as good as they get I'm afraid.

2nd one of the fireworks over the house I like quite a lot Smell the glove.

Baz love your shots too as always, did you need to use a flash, or I would assume you used the fire for the light?
Not taken photos at a fire yet, was far too tired after that parade thing I was at....

This seems rather apt for the occasion.

Ah thanks... That was the first. I have bros 3 kids, so 5 kids under 7. I took the pic and you will see tthere is a bot of motion blur, I've cropped most out, in the left, that was me running from the camera that I left on a pillar as one of the kids had disappeared. Poor fecker was hiding scared and crying behind a wall. Needless to say I had to stop! A couple more bad attempts.

There's always next year. Can't wait for shots tomorrow from those who went looking for fireworks.

How the hell did u end up in Ballymun!!
One of the new houses or your living with a bird in the flats. :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,259 ✭✭✭Shiny

    hehe.

I go to college in DCU. I am renting a place in the new flats in the centre
of Ballymun. From what I have heard the block is known locally as the
"fish tank" due to the fact that there is loads of glass on the ground floor
for shops/travel lodge etc and then it is all surround by the old flats.:D

A typical view for me during the day.

    :D

Its great. There is always something going on outside whether it be burning
cars, fighting, joy riding, drug use, stealing and lurking. We refer it now as
    "Ballymun TV".
