    Because of globalisation virtually all countries will be effected by the credit crunch/recession.No capitalist country can escape.

    How about the Middle Eastern States, surely the cash cow that is oil will keep them going?

    not really, demand for oil has plummeted and this is reflected in the prices falling. they wont be badly as affected but they are still going to take a hit like everywhere else

    They're mostly run by hopelessly corrupt goverments.They've always had high unemployment.In some Arab nations its up to 30%.A small cabal receive the oil money.

    How are Venezuela and Bolivia doing, Venezuela might struggle with the low Oil prices as they have mainly crude oil which needs high oil prices to be viable.
