Does anybody here listen to music while they're on the range or practice green. I'm moe talking about practice sessions as opposed to pre-game warm up but in general, does anyone do it and find it good or bad?

I'm very into music but would probably find it a distraction but more and more it seems ranges are getting more busy and more populated by people just up for laugh in a group, which can be kinda hard to work on your swing beside.

I've never tried it, but there's gotta be a thread (maybe even a compilation for Father's day in it!!).

I can see it now... 'Music to play golf by...'

    Bryan Adams - This summer i'll shoot a 69.
    Oasis - Wonder (golf) ball.
Crowded House - Four Birdies In One Day.
Bruce Springsteen - Born for the pga

I've listen to the iPod occassionally when out on the range. Nice relaxing music with a chilled out tempo would be the way to go. I don't think listening to speed metal or hardcore rock would be advisable from a swing tempo and rythm point of view!

    Good reply graeme.

I think a waltz would be the right tempo.

    Regularly.
Usually listen to the Byrds or the Eagles, and on rare ocasions, Albatross by Fleetwood Mac.
