Finally Finally completed this with you, have to say I loved it, the first week sucked me in and whilst the second wek dragged a little the third Week was just fantastic.

The presentation through out was great and for the first time in an RPG I really enjoyed the battles.

the ending left me a little underwhelmed but I actually will be playing through it a second time to try and pick up the extra cut scenes to try and make better sence of everything as well as collecting all the various items and pins, looking at it now, you couldn't really do everything the first time around. I had planned to trade it straight off so its a nice bonus to be wanting to continue playing on.

Any body looking for an adventure with some great story telling and good character development should really check this out.

Whipping Boy

After reading all the great reviews for this I decided to get my hands on it and I'm afraid to admit I just cant get into game at all. I don't know what I was expecting but an hour in and I've no motivation to continue on! Does it improve much as you continue through the game?

not yet played it but by all accounts more and more gameplay features open up after each 'day'. It starts off basic but gets alot better the further you get.

It does take a little while to get into. Nekku is an annoying b*stard at the start. You'll love him by the end though

I'm very attached to him at this point.

The first few days are quite restrictive but after you start buying and collecting pins and item it really opens up. Gettign to grips with the dual screen battle system makes a huge difference also.

I played through the last 3rd of the game in one and a bit sittings, I couldn't put it down.

Spent a few hours playing it but really couldn't get into it. I'm usually a big RPG fan, but found myself going back to Jeanne D'Arc instead of this. I must give it more time, but first two or three hours didn't enthrall me.

I've been playing this for over a month now and I'm only at the end of the second week - I'm spending most of my time creating killer pins

Just saw a guy playing this on the Luas and he was giving it socks! I've never hit the touchscreen as hard as he was..
Great game tho.. still only on week 2

fantastic game, best story in a handheld rpg ever, and amazingly eclectic music, i can understand people not liking it though, the battles are definitely an acquired taste and many find those tetsuya nomura character designs a bot to effeminite (i love them though...)
