im thinking of getting a red dot scope for my g36c and was wandering what would be the best one to get
i like the look of the mini acog and of the aimpoint but which would be a better and which would be the brightest and easiest to see. id be able to spend about 60 maybe a bit more and would prefer to get it from an irish retailer. and if there was one with a bit of magnification maybe 2x would be good it would be great

You won't get a dot-sight with magnification that I know of, all magnified ones use a reticle of some form or another. They also usually start around the 100 mark for the likes of the 4x ACOG by G&P.

I think the mini ACOG is way too small, comically so in fact. It looks rather odd and out of place. It's size also makes it a pain to use due to the smaller lens. I've gone through about a dozen versions of red dot sights and I always end up coming back to my first one, the M2 Aimpoint. It's the king as far as I'm concerned.

Why G&G? Go to RSOV and get one for €40

Have you seen the average shipping charges from RSOV? A €15 springer shotgun is an extra €45 for delivery. The shipping alone puts it over the customs threshold so it'll be held by customs and have a further charge placed on it.
If the shipping on the ACM models was more reasonable I'd agree, but you add that €45 onto the €40 price of the sight and you're already over the average Irish retailers price even before taxes are applied. Importing these days is only really for things you can't get in Irish/UK retailers thanks to the EMS rule changes forcing HK shops to use expensive couriers.
