My laptop fell of a low table and it seemed to be working ok but I noticed that it wasn't charging.
It fell backwards and landed on the part where the charger plugs in.
I can hear a rattling sound as if something is loose, can this be fixed and if so,where?

It sound like you DC socket is broken. Have a check of it. Is the pin missing from where the power lead plugs into the laptop. Whats the make and model?
