I always remember the day I drove out of Galway to find a " X deaths on Tipperary Roads" hung upside down on the side of the road.

I laughed the entire way back to Dublin!

The English is clear enough to lorry drivers - but the Welsh reads "I am not in the office at the moment. Please send any work to be translated."

The worst offense in Ireland is the tree or telegraph pole in front of a sign. You just have to wonder which got there first.
