Drum and Bass anyone?

Hey folks,

am toying with the idea of setting up a Drum and Bass project. Would be looking to aim for a live sound, so thats

2 x guitar
1 x bass
1 x drummer
1 x samples.

DJ and Singer already sorted, just testing the waters here.

Anyways, respond on thread if interested, get some debate going.

End result would be to make bands like Pendulum look like Westlife.

So a BIG sound needed.

I'm in waterford, am looking for that kind of deal, although it is hard to play... play to a click live anyway.

Would you think about getting a drummer AND a percussionist? Could work really well.

Bit of a stretch to say that Pendulum are not DnB, which is where they started. Sure, the song shown portrays elements of metal and breakbeat but i was asked to post a sample of the sound we would like to venture towards.

If i wanted to do DnB in the style that you posted i would have posted similar.

Also, even hoping to replicate what Jojo does would be a foolhardy move unless i was able to find a ****ing ridiculous sticksman.

I don't mean to be a prick here but it's a little annoying to be coming into a thread hoping for some interested parties and instead finding people posting links to Drum and Bass songs etc.
