Despite the heading, that's the 2008 timetable, not 2009.

2009 has not been published, but exams will start on Wednesday 3 June.

    June 4th is a Thursday in 2009.

15th is a Monday. If exams start on Weds 3rd June, it'll be the Monday of the third week. If they start on the 10th, it'll be the Monday of the second week of exams.

EDIT: Exams start on Wednesday 3rd June 2009.

There's a Friday 15th May, not getting mixed up?

They've announced the starting date will be the 3rd, nothing else.

I agree with this. I doubt there will be any great changes for this year.

I'd be finished around the 11th if not for Economics

I suppose I will have 4 days or so to cram :D

I'm still waiting in hope that they might switch Chemistry with another minority subject and keep a rotation going.

One can have hope anyway :)

    Good old Applied Maths.

It will make the last few days of the Leaving Cert fun! Well I should hope so.

Do you think the new TD exam (now only one paper) will be on the Friday or the Monday? I was told that they'd move it to the Monday and space out one or two exams like Italian and Engineering?

    Lies or truth?

It depends how many are doing it to be honest.
If it's a small number, it won't make much difference to just leave it where the first paper was. Quite a bit of work went into the moving around of subjects for last year's exams, I doubt they will re-jig them all again.

I'll ask a few people when the timetable is expected to be out.

Something interesting for all the applied maths peeps,

theres a good chance the exam will be changed to 3 hours, with still only 6 questions, thats half an hour extra, just waiting to be signed off on by the minister of course

Really? That'd be brilliant, it'd give so much time to each question.

well our school was sying that the new timetable should be sticking for the next 2 years, so that's 2009 and 2010, so judging by last years it's the 10th:)
