WHERE ARE ALL THE GIRLS HIDING

Is it just me or are there no single girls out there these days?

I've tried the net, pubs, clubs and gym etc for ages and not a bit of luck in meeting a nice girl. I'm not a picky guy but I do have a thing for tall girls(I'm 6'3" in me 20's)(everybody has something the really like in the opposite sex).

I have no problem talking to girls or at least I don't think so. My best mate says she doesn't get how I can just spark up a conversation with nearly anyone.

Am I looking in the wrong places or is it just the fact I'm looking. I never really thought about my single life untill recently.

I'm a confident guy. work hard and like to have a laugh. Is there anything I can be doing differently that would makle me stand out to women.

Girls any help you can give me on this would be greatly appreciated.

Girls have the same problems, I don't think you should really look if you know what I mean, you'll meet someone it just takes time. I think if you go out looking you spend the night doin that rather than enjoying yourself. Enjoy being single cause you might be with the next girl for life.... which could be a very very long time.

There are a few of these threads popping up lately

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055406797

Theres loads of advice on that thread.

You seem to be making every effort to meet someone, so if you're open to it I'm sure you will eventually, you just can't time these things. But remember to have fun when you're single hey, the grass is always greener, y'know? :)

I could ask where all the single guys are! There seems to be a disconnect between all the single girls and single guys these days and they dont seem to be able to find each other.

My advice would be to make sure you are out doing things, exploring interests etc. You can be sure there are girls doing the same and chances are when the right one comes along you will cross paths. Thats what Im hoping will happen to me :p

To be honest with you I think there are LOADS of girls out there. Its actually unreal - I'm talking about Dublin now - most good pubs , late bars. Now I can understand if you meant really nice girls, they are there but harder to find but I'm sure that the same applies to guys.

I've had a lot of luck with gumtree.ie, I'd highly recommend it. I met my current girlfriend on there and we've been together 6 months. All in all I met about 10 girls on there within a 6 month period.

The best advice I can give is be truly confident in who you are and you'll find the girl who is right for you.

I love chatting girls up - its just the initial contact is a bit of a problem to get over but once thats done its great !
I'd always ask a girl loads about herself because
A - You get to know her.
B - Its important to show your interest in her.
C - I dont want to be seen or come accross as a big ego tosser who just talks about himself.

    Actually and strangely enough.......

Mod hat on. lets try to get this back to practicalities and less of the off topic stuff

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

abi2007 this is not a dating site, so take it to PM. Read the charter about off topic posts. Thanks.
