5 things that annoy me about PES 2009

Have only played the Become a legend mode since buying this so these annoyances are solely based on that. As I have been saying since the game has been released I am undecided on how I feel about this. One moment I love it and think its brilliant, the next I want to throw my controller across the room.

    1) Player reactions- Why does it take about two seconds for my player to react when he loses the ball?
If I intercept a pass from the other team why don't the players on my team react?...the continue on as if the other team have the ball and ignore it even if it rolls right by them.

    2) The Yellow X- On goal kicks your player is automatically dragged towards a yellow X on the ground if you are near it, you stand there waiting for the ball to come until at the last second an opposition player just walks in front of you and heads the ball away. Why can you not move or jostle for position?

    3) Play being so patterened- If you play enough you will now exactly how things are going to play out. If you intercept the ball and actually manage to get a team mate to react they will lose the ball back within 3/4 passes. It never changes, you never dominate a team or luckily scrape a victory.

    4) Team mates A.I - When you move to a better team why do they still play like the team you joined from?...it give no incentive to leave your club.
    Goal keepers constantly drop shots.
I played for Man City a long ball was hit up field for me to chase, Ferdinand got there first and I tried to guess which way he was going to go but guessed wrong and he calmly passed the ball away.
Fast Forward a couple of season I sign for United and my opponents hit a long ball up field. Ferdinand gets to it before their player and calmly.......................kicks it into row Z. This is not just a once off but happens every time.
When we are attacking no matter how much space you are in your team mates will seek the more difficult pass to someone else. Or they will run down the wing and try beat the defender again and again while you stand in the box waiting for the cross...and if they do get in the cross chances are it will be just as you get caught offside.
Each team will also have a player that will rarely pass...( Rooney for United, Petrov for City.)
Your team mates will take the ball off your toe.

    5) Pasing and shooting -
The through ball will very rarely work, but that may just be down to stats. However when you are two on one and you try and square the ball it will inevitably move just far enough away from you for the defender to intercept it which is ridiculous because no matter how bad a player is he should be able to make a simple pass like that.
As for shooting, I like how you need to have your body adjusted properly before shooting but the shooting seems fairly random and leads to missing a lot of simple chances.

Also does anyone know if you can change the right stick from manual passing to using it for tricks?

Something that annoys me i've noticed in past pro ev's as well. Today i was playing villa in the master league but it could of being barca the way they played.

They brushed every player i had of the ball at every chance, passed their way through my defence as if nobody was there. The only way to stop them was a slide tackle which always ended up in a free kick.

My players though seemed to take an extra touch when trying to turn, passing reaction was a lot slower and everyone of my players seemed to be marked and most of the time i ended up losing possesion because my players didnt react in time.

I have noticed before in past pro ev's but was never this extreme, you still had a chance of winning.

If your players are poor at reacting, maybe check out their Response stat?

If a ball is in the air and you want to reposition your player, press R2/RT to move him around or R1/RB + R2/RT to super cancel. If you're always trying to head the ball and an opoosition players gets it more than you, it could be because of Jump, Header, Body Balance or height.

England have excellent players, Prevo doesn't take into account England's poor management skills.

England have a 100% record in the qualifiers so actually they're good! But as individual players, they're good.
I'm hearing too much bad stuff about pro evo, I'm seriously considering getting fifa
