Small car, firm steering

    Hello,

I am looking at getting a small car from around 2001-2003.

I also have a preference for rather firm steering with a lot of response and feedback. My current '98 1L Opel Corsa has that (with electric power steering).

I tried an '03 1L Corsa at a dealership but the steering appeared much softer there. I had to move the wheel real fast to make the sharp turns in their yard.

Do any cars from around that time have firmer steering? Perhaps the Yaris, or the older model (up to 2002) Fiesta? If it's only the Yaris I'm in a bad position as that is overpriced...

How about an 01/02 Peugeot 106 or Saxo - with no power steering ?

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”
