Dkit Airsoft went out to the mountains/woods for a prebooked skirmish today!;)

Weather: Snow, wind, rain, cold = Battle of the bulge!

Personally ive never skirmished in the snow, but its hard all my gear is soaked through, I decided to leave my Glock at home(obvious reasons!)
But it really was an experience!

Anyone else skirmished in similar or more exciting conditions? :)

When the thunder and lightning happened a few months ago when all the roads where flooded, i was sitting at the top of the tallest tree in HRTA, the rain started and it was so heavy that within about 20seconds i was as wet as i could possibly be, literally pints of water came out of my clothes. I was up there for a good hour or more., I could see the lightning strikes for miles up there.,lol

i remember last year in hrta too, when it had been snowing over night and the grass was icey. we took the sheet ice from te top of the puddles and made shattering targets out if it.,:D

    Looked out the window earlier.

Saw some white things on the ground.

First thought..."Did someone spill some bb's?"

Slapped myself in the head when I realised it was some hailstones.

Never played in rain but on the night of Dark Mist it was like 1 degree celsius and very windy. I was at Delta Base for an hour before I told the team captain that if I didn't move I would die of hypothermia.

Hehehehe. We were sitting in the office laughing at you staying out there. My mate Danny was enduring it too, we still dont know how he avoided hypothermia(he's a very scrawny guy). Good day though. It only lashed like that for the last bit of the afternoon. Getting back to D14 took over 2 hours though! There's a dip at the back of swords village, musta been 4ft of water there in the centre, not a good place to stall.

You were sitting at the top of the tallest tree in the middle of a flat area during a lightning storm?

Did you have a full metal bodied AEG too?

Do you not know how lightning works? :p

Could have been worse: he could have been carrying that propane powered long rifle. Not much worse, though.

vtec, bro, not the best place to be sitting. I'd have been down out of that tree like a hot snot, game or no game.
