Well, the question is in the title .. what are your thoughts?

I am after buying MOH Heroes 2 and am really looking forward to it .. especially the online action!

Don't you mean first-person shooter?! In any case, its Metroid Prime, even though technically its a first person adventure game. The controls are amazing

Of all the ones I played Metorid was the pick of the bunch. I really liked red steel but thats a marmite game. Felt the controls in Red Steel were amazing when the worked. No better game for headshots. Haven't played MOH and i had heard that it had the best controls but Metroid is fantastic.

you either love it or hate it? I like it but don't love it

resident evil 4 has to be the best wii game though. it's a third person shooter/adventure but is fantastic

HAven't played any of them but Metroid Prime is renowned as being the leader. Sega are releasing a new game called Conduit, Personally it doesn't look like my cup of tea but the game play does look pretty tight and the graphics are fairly impressive.

Metroid is on my list for something to keep me busy over Xmas.

Heroes 2 is the best purely for the fact that it has online deathmatches (that don't need bleedin friend codes!) and if you tweak the sensitivity, has better controls than Metroid.

Call of Duty World at war is on the way. Im looking forward to that myself.

Call of duty 3 was good as well if you ignore a few bugs with the controls that pop up when the action gets a little frantic.

Aside from those 2, Metroid is the only way to go.

Quantum of Solace Wii is meant to be quite good from reports over at wiffy, despite a lack of online reviews (and the ones that are online give it around a 6).

The control is as good as MoH:H2 and it has online so I might grab it this week sometime and report back.

Thanks for all the recommendations. I since got Heroes 2 and am getting into it. I am supprised with how good the controls are .. thought there would be a delay.

Only playing archade atm, but am getting throught as fast as I can and want to move on to the campaign.

Heres to hours and hours of Heroes 2!!

Call of Duty 3 is quite good on the Wii, only let down by some of the gestural controls and a bizarre control method for driving.
MOH Heroes 2 is excellent, a real return to the good stuff you remember from MOH Frontline.
Metroid Prime 3 is awesome, played it to the finish and loved every minute.

And the best news is the announcement of the first two Metroid Prime games are to be retrofitted with the Metroid Prime 3 controls and released as a double pack, at least in Japan so fingers crossed for a European release. I might even beat the last boss in Metroid Prime, finally!

Call of Duty 5 might be the one to go for. It's being built from the ground up as a Wii game and not a crappy port and so far is looking like one of the most impressive games I've seen on the console, it really looks gorgeous.
