I have for sale my saber defence xr41. THIS IS A LIVE FIRING SEMI AUTOMATIC RIFLE AND IS LICENCED AS SUCH

Pictures of this rifle can be seen at:
    http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.topguns.ch/waffen,3,35,3,2,XR41.html&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=3&ct=result&prev=/search?q=saber+defence+xr41&hl=en&rlz=1I7GGIE_en

I bought this rifle new in the middle of last year costing almost 2400 euro. It came with 1 20 round mag and a cleaning kit. Since its purchase 1 have put 500 rounds through it.

I have bought an origional hensoldt 4x28 fero z scope and mount for the rifle ( it was what was used on the G3 and only fits this rifle ) Bullet drop compensator as standard and ive added a reticule illuminatior. http://www.mg-42.net/G3_hensoldt.htm

I have also added a carry handle to the rifle, spent casing deflector ( useful as the ejection throws casings some 30 feet and damages them if you want to reload) and a bipod. The rifle now looks like this only without the sight

The rifle now looks like this only with a different sight.

As this rifle is a copy of a battle rifle and is a design over 50 years old the trigger needless to say was a bit lacking for the target shooting that i was doing with it so it has been given a trigger job to improve it ( It is an optional extra when buying the gun)
It has also had a complete recoat in DURACOAT black onyl because i was unhappy with the factory finish of the gun (im a perfectionist) and as spent casings are ejected from the rifle they scratch the side of the reciever.

    Now the hard part....

I will sell the rifle as complete with all accessories or just the rifle.
The rifle alone will be 2200 euro
Rifle with all mentioned accessories 2700 euro.

I DO NOT WANT ANY DREAMERS SO CONDITIONS ARE:

For those of you applying for a licence for this gun:

A 500 EURO non refundable deposit applys, in which time you will be givin 3 months to get your licence ( It is possible i got mine in 3 weeks) if unsuccessfull you will lose your deposit and i will readvertise the gun .

For those of you who already have a Semi auto 308. licence or are a dealer:

A 250 EURO deposit applys and payment on collection of gun.

contact me through this site for pictures.

    thank you for your time.

Just a heads-up gh, I wouldn't recommend trying to do that. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have a legal leg to stand on if someone put down 500 with you, their application for a licence took 15 weeks (we've heard of far longer waits) and you then sold on the rifle to someone else and refused to return the 500. You'd wind up in small claims court at best.

I'd suggest that instead, you take the deposit and put the rifle in escrow with a firearms dealer for however long it takes for the licence to be granted (and the buyer picking up the tab for storage would seem fair as well). Far fewer problems that way. And better personal security as well.
