    Hey guys,

I'm doing some work as a follow up to an iso27001 audit that was performed a few months back. When reviewing the work done, i notice acronyms such as PNS, DPNS, DDPNS, PS, DPS against each control.

Anyone familiar with these and what they mean. Cheers

    You might this site useful.

    Regards

    Liam

Edit: Although I don't think, in your case, that DPNS means "Deep Pharyngeal Neuromuscular Stimulation". Oh well. It's usually a useful site.

I've been involved in a number of 27001 reviews and I don't recall ever seeing those acronyms before! Even a google search of them doesn't throw anything obvious up. If the audit company did not expand the acronyms in their document or provide a glossary, that's quite poor. I'd go back and ask them what they are referring to as it may be some sort of internal code for them.

Presumably there should be an audit report document (otherwise this isn't an audit!!)

The only thing that I can possibly think would be that PS/DNPS might mean is Passes Standard/Does Not Pass Standard....does that seem to fit with your own observations?

Is this Audit being done by an accredited certification body?
