Excellent pictures...one slight nag and this is just that, they seem to be posing for you and if it was one picture yeah not too bad but one after the other it's more noticeable.

#1 and #7 are my favs.

    some nice snaps there,
one thing i'd say is that the DoF in the second is a little shallow

Cannot see the images at work, but have had five of those in my back garden at various stages.

Nice work, I've been keeping an eye on your travels via flickr, looks like you've driven all the way from Perth to somewhere near Darwin, must have been cool.

When I went out this morning I really wished that I was going back to Oz this winter.......

the emu and the owl ones look like they are really pissed off with you for some reason :)
and the kangaroos look suspicious ! :D

think they are pretty cool shots. the only fly in the ointment is the owl one as the beak seems to be out of focus

Did you get to see a cassowary?!

We were up north looking at all these signs and never saw one even though we went looking!

Lovely photos btw, the bat is so cute!

Thanks all for the comments, yeah i guess the shallow depth of field for the tawny frogmouth doesnt work the best but its his eyes I was after focus on...they were the craziest eyes of any animal Ive ever seen...

The Emu was definitely pissed off with me but not the bird...he just lookds that way because it was day time and he just sat there all day...a different animal at night altogether...his name is animal too after animal from the muppets :)
