job seekers allowence and tempory work

    say if your receiving job seekers allowance and opt to take up temporary work say 6 week contract for xmas staff.
    obviously you have to inform your office and sign off for that time frame
    but after the 6 weeks and your once again unemployed would your payment re commence or would you need to re apply.

    It wouldn't be worth signing off because you would have to make a fresh claim again,You could work part-time and still get SW they just take some JA off your pay each week. hope this helps :)

    ok yeah that helped

    will check a place which would keep people on part time after the xmas period

    I know that place ( if offered a position) would be just xmas
