I am an eBay seller looking to test other online retail markets, preferably aimed at Irish consumers.

Is anyone aware of any such websites?

    Phil

Sadly - eBay, bad and all as it is, is the only serious player in the online auction game. No other site has anything remotely like the number of buyers and sellers that eBay has. Specialist sites have their place but for general selling/buying eBay is the only place so my advice is to stick with them. I am buying and selling on eBay since 2002 and have looked everywhere else but there is no alternative - that is unless somebody else knows better? :):)

I am still waiting for Google-Bid to open up (made that name up). I remember hearing of Goggle-Money, which I was hoping would trounce paypal out of it, heard nothing since though.

    And Google-Ticket to destroy tickemaster.

Seems to me google programmers actually use their products! unlike ebay who surely must never have used the system otherwise they would know how brutal it is and change it.

Google Checkout is up and running.
