I have a student account with AIB and need to get an overdraft on it. I was looking online and see that you have to pay 25 euro to get one. I was just wondering if its easy to get and how long it takes if anyone knows?

I rang up telephone banking and they transferred me to the relevant department. Did it all over the phone and it was active less than a week later.
