As i've been coming and going from college by car its becoming clear people want to get knocked down, this thought has been forming in my mind as over the past few weeks as i've nearly knocked down several young uns' around College Rd & Magazine Rd.

Today around 40 mins ago at the lights on the Glasheen Rd a young lady walked out in front of traffic with phone clamped to ear and blissfully unaware of what was around her, a rapid application of the brakes and my beeping horn were enough to avoid my car hitting her.

To the walkers, please stay on the footpath and look out for the green man. the road is for cars, and i don't want dents in my bumper.

while we are on the subject

could drivers please not drive their cars onto the pavements continually on those two roads. I was nearly killed coming out of my house a few times there

pavements are for walkers not cars
