I'm just wondering whether anyone could provide me with links to relevant biblical passage's?. I'm not seeking to debate or judge such...merely seeking it's reference in scripture.

    Thanks

    Genesis 19:1-29
This describes the destruction of Sodom. It does not specify homosexuality as the sin for which the city was destroyed. The only reference to homosexuality is when the residents wanted to rape the two angels. Interestingly the Roman Catholic Church classes this as homosexuality but also teaches that angels are genderless!

Leviticus 18:22, 29 & Leviticus 20:13 condemn male homosexual activities under the Old Testament Law.

Deuteronomy 22:5 describes cross-dressing as an ambomination.

Romans 1:26-27 cites lesbian and homosexual acts as an example of how wicked people become when they reject God.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 includes 'homosexual offenders' among those who have no inheritance in the Kingdom of God. He goes on to state that some of the Corinthians had formerly being among such people, but had been transformed by their Christian conversion.

1 Timothy 1:10 includes homosexuality along with a bunch of serious sins against God.

An interesting book that provides a critical reading of the various biblical passages that PDN refers to, from a pro-gay perspective, is Gareth Moore A Question of Truth: Christianity and Homosexuality (London: Continuum, 2003). Moore was a Dominican, who died soon after this book was published. He also wrote The Body in Context: Sex and Catholicism (Continuum: 2001).

Sounds like an endorsement of transgenderism to me ;)

To be fair to the RCC, the angels were manifested as men, so the Sodomites were, er, Sodomites. :D

I think the classification of the Sodom incident as a punishment against homosexuality has been fabricated by wishful thinking. As Ezekiel says in the 16th chapter of his book
    Ezekiel 16 wrote:
This was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had pride, excess of food and prosperous ease, but did not aid the poor and needy. They were haughty and did abominable things before me; therefore I removed them when I saw it.

Homosexuality was not their only sin, but it was the distinguishing mark on a society given over to hedonism. It was a chief aspect of the abominable things .
Jude 1:7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
