Hi all, I'm just looking for a bit of advice, I'm thinking of doing the MA Public Advocacy and Activism [ http://www.go4th.ie/filmschool/ma_public.html ] in NUI Galway next year. I think :D, think I'm fairly well qualified for it, my primary degree is in this area, and I've been doing some work in the area since graduating, the question is, is it worth my time? Anyone done the course, or know anyone who's done it, and what they thought of it? Any and all comments will be welcome! Thanks

A friend of mine is doing it, enjoys it, but has to organise her own placement for next year?

Also finds it hard working alongside college work, and trust me, for a masters, you need to have your readings done.

Don't know a whole lot about the course to be honest, except there is lots of reading, and she is the youngest in the class considerably (at 23 i think).

You'd be best going in to chat with a lecturer, or even ask could you meet a current student, they're usually very obliging
