Ok so i have heard an urban myth that a graduate can claim back tax from renting student accommodation AFTER leving? Is this true? and do you need the pps number of your old landlord? some people have said yes, some have said no. can somebody please help me? I have receipts for three years of paying rent, but not the pps number? and what is the approx amount that you recieve back??

    Thanks:)

All the details are available on www.revenue.ie

Yes, you can claim back previous years.

You don't need the landlord's PPS, just the rented address.
