Film 4 not working on Sky

Hey guys,

Have Sky a few weeks in the appartment and for some reason Film 4 does not work, just the blue screen with the blue and yellow box?

Any ideas, is it not a freeview channel?

It's a Free To Air, it should work (with or without subscription), it worked for me yesterday anyway. I'm guessing Film4+1 didn't work for you either...

Nope neither work...it just say satellite signal not being received?
Strange one.

Wonder if it has to be tuned to a different setting?

Have you tried a reboot, plug out from mains wait a few minutes then reconnect.

Had the same problem with the True Movie Channel turned out it was a Cordless dect phone base station in the same room causing the problem also read about other people having problems with Ch4 which turned out to be neighbours wireless alarm system causing interference

I also had a similar problem. Channel 4+1 and some of the stations for kids were affected with interfernce from the wireless DECT phone.

The short cable that came with my SKY box was IMO poor quality. I went out and bought a better one and the problem was fixed.
