Scholarships & tax

    Hey there!

I'm just looking for some info from some of you that have been in my position. I'm currently about a month into the 1st year of a PhD, funded by a scholarship so I get a stipend from the college. My question is, do I have to sign anything or talk to the tax crowd about my 'earnings' not being taxed? I know all the forms about starting to draw money from my scholarship down every month or something have been sent in to the pay crowd in Trinity but I heard tell of some form about tax and stuff...

I'm sorry if I'm asking a stupid question but I don't want to be taxed!!!

    Thanks in advance,

    Zo.
