    anyboady know (or seen a sign up in a window as you were going in to have your bet)if their are any shops in dublin looking for cashiers

    You could just send a CV into the headoffice of the big ones, companies are often impressed with people actively looking for jobs, rather than replying to ads.

    Also a FOAF works as one, gets tips etc, and AFAIK they do not like to employ gamblers, or people that would be ringing around mates with tips etc, I think this is why they tend to be women working there, as I presume women are not as big into gambling. Hard to say what to put down, i.e. going for a normal job you should be showing strong interest in the subject, and know how it all works.

    Just go on the sites of the main bookies, paddies biyles etc. They nearly all have a career section with current vacancies. Have a couple of mates who used to work for a certain English bookie here and it seemed like a hellish job.
