there was 2 half hour shows on, the first one had some electric in it too, it was a documentary joining him on his irish tour, quite good!

It's a bleedin' disgrace that they had him on so late. He deserves to be on at 9pm if they're celebrating his 60th birthday.

Still.. the acoustic show was brilliant. It's a pity that the first show was Rory's first gig with Rod De'Ath as the group weren't as hit shot as usual.

Thoroughly enjoyed that last night. Great sound of that resonator (sp?) for the first tune on the acoustic show.

Are ya kidding?! You've got to get some of his live albums and hear his blistering electric slide technique.

is it just me or is that little lick he plays a few times in the first song (ie @ 2:25 or thereabouts) on the video there the same as the intro to that track with ronnie drew, think its called barley & a graperag or something. Really love the guitar on that track.

Fair play to the oul one, on the ball, recorded both of them, just watching now :D

Rory was pure class, one of the greats, the sad thing is his talent is more recognised abroad than it is in Ireland.

It's funny looking the old gigs with puny PA's, they've got it ****in cranked on stage, that's where ya get that "vintage" tone from :D
