I recently won an iPod Touch in a raffle.
I have Eircom WiFi at home (which it wont let me use)
And WiFi at the college library (which tells me I need a java applet)

I'm usually quite computer savvy but this is completely wrecking my head. Can anyone help me out??

    Thanks.

Is your home network encrypted? What form of encryption does it use (probably WEP if the default)?

By encripted, do you mean password protected?

Ok. Yes it is. I have the password and I type it in and it says the password is invalid and it still wont connect!!! I entered the correct DNS details in the DHCB area. Very confused.

Unless you have DHCP switched off, you shouldn't need to enter any of those details.

Can you try switching the encryption off and connect without it to make sure the problem isn't with the device itself?
