Problem with DVD Drive

    Hi.

    My DVD drive on my PC (Windows vista home basic) will not play the majority of my DVDs. These are all 100% original region 2 dvds and there is no pattern to the ones that work and those that dont. When i put one into the drive it just makes a whirring noise as if it cant read the DVD and then in some cases ill try it later and it will work.

    Ive run diagnostics on the drive and changed settings and nothing works. Anyone any ideas? I'm trying to sync DVDS onto my new Microsoft Zune so have never needed to even use the drive for DVDs before really
