Would you date someone with acne?

Hi I'm a young guy (20) considered very attrative and get alot of attention off the ladies , sorry don't mean to come across a complete ass.

Anyway the thing is I do suffer from abit of the owl acne on my face and back and it is really starting to affect my confidence. Now don't get me wrong I didn't come on here looking for treatment options cos I can sort that myself and also there are many other threads on here about treatment of acne. However, I just want to know how people see other people with spots or whatever......


Does acne turn you off the person as in do you see them as unattrative, or do you just look past the spots and see the person for who they are etc? Basically wouldd you FANCY them? Sorry this post may seem a little immature, but hey I'm young afterall. Thanks Boardsies.

There are all sorts of people in this world. There are people who wouldn't give a damn you have acne, there are people who would give a damn, and there are people in between.

You can't please everybody, so just be yourself, make the most of what you have, and you'll find everything will work out ok.

i could have posted a thread like this about wearing glasses a few years ago. i won't lie, the amount of attention i got went on a big increase. i'd imagine the same might be said of bad acne on the face. tbh you'll never know until see the reaction without the spots. i've had bfs with back acne and i have to say, once you're at the stage where you're shirtless, it doesn't matter

Acne wouldn't bother me - I understand it is temporary and not something its owner can (totally) control.

I wouldn't be put off just cuz someone had some spots, sure we all have our 'flaws'. You get attention so you must be doing something right I wouldn't let this knock your confidence at all.

Glasses are especially hot if the girl is a corker underneath them!

Like not that glasses make girls ugly but sometimes they hide really amazing eyes and when they take them off or get contacts its like WOW! Pretty suddenly goes to Amazing! Glasses are also good for the sexy secretary scenario ! Phew . . .

Acne wouldn't bother me in the slightest.
When your actually physically attracted to someone, small details like that don't matter.
