Hard Drive almost full

    Can anyone help.

I have a MBP, with a 120 GB hard drive. It is telling me that I have only 25gb remaining and I was hoping to load Windows and run office as I am sick of having to email my pc if I want to edit excel.

I have to admit I have alot of photo's and music oh the mac but when I hooked up an 80gb ipod and ensured that all music and photos were synced it only showed about 12 -16 gb in use (can't remember the exact figure but it was there abouts)

My question is, I have no major applications on the mac other than what came with leopard plus i-life 2008 and the regular updates.

Is there anyway I can see what is taking up the space and possibly clear some of the crap off.

If anyone has advice please remember I am newbie at this.

You don't need Windows for something simple as that

    You could use

OmniDiskSweeper is an application that will tell you what all the files on your mac are using up.

I use a thing called WhatSize. It's really good,, tells you what's taking up the space.

Might I recomend Neo Office. Based on open office but its better adapted for macs, no need for x11

Open Office 3 which is currently out runs natively on macs so there's no need for Neo Office
