"Magic eye" on a radio

    Anyone here remember them? they're great yokes and they should start putting them on new radios. I think some tunes are only supposed to be listened to on a cold sunday morning with an old school valve radio. I mean the real old Irish 1940-1960 songs with an old guy singing along about the banks of some river.

    Normal valves are still being made in third world countries but the 'magic eye' ones probably havn't been made since the 60's but there are still unused ones around.

    yeah, theyre kinda cool. Id laugh to see a comeback. for the tech people, the numbers are em34 or em84 for the later ones. google I guess for data. this should be in hobby radio? lol
