Ipod threatening to wipe everything?

    howdy,

    im wanting to upload a video clip i took with my digital cam at a wedding to a friends 60gb ipod classic, but the bloody thing is giving me a worrying message...

    can anyone tell me if uploading this clip is going to actually wipe everthing it says its going to wipe?
    if so what kind of bull**** is that?

    The whole "automatically sync with one library only unless you manually manage music and video" thing perhaps?

    Are you copying the file using your PC of their PC?
    Not 100% about this but your friend will need to do the copying as it's their iTunes tied to the iPod....not yours.

    You'll end up wiping their tunes/videos.
