UPC Digital Box RF Out

I recently got a new connection to UPC with the standard digibox to replace crappy Sky Conway. This was hooked up by the UPC technician as follows:

Wall socket to digibox through RF cable
    Digibox to TV through Scart

He didn't connect the digibox to the TV with the RF Out so I tried it myself (just in case something happens the digibox so I'll still have the 16 basic analogue channels) and no channels were picked up by the TV when I scanned for them. I then tried connecting the wall socket directly to TV with the RF cable and it didn't find any channels again. The digital channels all work fine through the Scart though.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is with the analogue channels and how I can sort it out?

    Thanks.

Are you on MMDS? If so no analogue is available

Ah, that could be the problem. It's actually in my friend's apartment so not too sure of the setup. Is there any way I could check that? Or should I just ring UPC and ask them?

There might not be Analogue. Analogue is likely to be phased out on all ex-Chorus MMDS and all Cable soon. As DingDong says, ex-NTL MMDS has not had any analogue for some time.

Each Analogue channel "wastes" the space of 50 to 200 Modem users for BB or up to 10 Digital Channels, or 4 HD channels.
