Cleaning a Clarinet?

I've recently started playing my clarinet again, after about 3 years of non use. I'd kept it in the box, and it sounds fine now, but the keys are looking very dull and I want to give it a good polish, but I'm not sure what to use. I don't want to damage it! Can anyone recommend a good method?

    Thanks!

Use a silver polish cloth for external keys; gently rub each key (can breathe on it first for a small bit of moisture) and be careful of the pads, springs and rods. Hopefully you're using the pull through for inside clarinet! you can also use cotton wool buds on the tone holes if there's a build up...

Thanks for that! I've got a lovely pull-through for the inside, just never heard of anything specific for cleaning the outside! It'd gotten a bit scruffy! All nice and shiny again now though!
