Ok single mum (not me) had a place to live with family but things got real bad and she needs to get out of there.she cant get rent allowance as she cant rent tomorrow and she wont be getting a social house anytime soon,what can she do to get somewhere now

if shes a single mom then shes on loan parent allowance yes ? if shes not working then why cant she get rent allowance ?
