i think my blu ray drive has gone tits up, i was playing earlier no problem, i went to load a game the disc wouldn't read, corrupted data error came up, so i tried another game...nothing then i reinstalled the ps3 thinking it may resolve the issue, but nothing everything else if fine, it can read avi's i have on a dvd, but…

what gives any ideas, will i have to send it to consolerepairs, i only bought it last December, i don't play that much, i don't play blu rays, it's hardly dead from exhaustion ? i dunno

should i open it, would it be under warranty, i don't think i registered it what can i do ?
