Best place to get a guitar repaired

    My guitar needs a new bridge and im wondering where's the best/cheapest place to get it repaired? in Dublin of course

    haha ye thats right well he lost the bridge a while ago cause he never really played it so I need a new one, I would also like a guitar tech to take a look at it and check if there are any other problems.

    You'll find a list of shops in the resources sticky here.

    Should be andy enough to pick up a new tailpiece/bridge in any of the music shops in Dublin. The new X-music shop would be handy for you to get to.
    A lot of the shops could also recommend someone to do a setup for you, but I'd read through some of the links provided and have ago yourself, there's not a huge amount to it.

    theres a place on exchequer street (same street as musicmaker) called guitarfix just across the road, you buzz the bell, go upstairs and the bloke has guitar parts everywhere and he will have a look at it for ya!

    the lads in music maker know where it is!

    i fitted a tone pros locking bridge to my SG,it's definitely sustaining better since! expensive enough but hey if it was free why not spend a little on it!

    Ok thanks King-Stew ye I think ill go that that place near music maker and ye Des I was having a look through those links and ye it doesn't look that hard I think I'll give it a go myself, thanks for the advice.

    I got one of those for my LP Jr. yesterday. :)
