    Hi,
I'm stuck at home on a Saturday- and feel like I'm wasting the weekend!
Want to go somewhere but don't know where and the weather isn't helping- anyone got any ideas?

Your location being as hilariously vague as it is, have you tried going Somewhere Else?

    Cinema?

There's a few good films out. It'll probably be packed being the long weekend and all but still

That's what I'm about to start doing, then in a few hours I'm gonna clean my room. Then I'm gonna go for a few drinks with a friend, and then to a nightclub!

Go in to the Callaghan in Stephens green, have a skinny latte in the dock, then downstairs for a thunderous shíte in VERY plush surrounds.

It will set you up for the day.

You can do what you like after that!!

have a look around your house/apartment and make a start on all those things you promised yourself you'd do ome day like put up some shelves, re-paint a room, or tidy up. that reminds me, i must tidy up one day.

not today though, telly and junk food all the way. :D

Yeah, things like that are best saved for when you're busy. They get done quicker that way

ditoo. the g/f has a knack for deciding to have the family over and that we have to do a forensic cleanup of the house with only an hour to spare. that always REALLY cheers me up when I want to relax for the weekend. :D

Go to see the new Hamleys toy shop in Dundrum, it's fantastic down there today. I brought my kids and we had a great time.

Clean the entire house. Wallow in the pleasure of shiny taps. Scrub the kitchen floor on your hands and knees till you can see your face in it - even better if it's carpet. Polish the lightswitches. Remember that 90%* of colds are transmitted through door handles and disinfect them all. Turn your mattress. Empty the fridge and clean it. Photograph your toenails to keep a record of their growth. Find a place for the kitchen equipment you never use. Then go to Lidl and buy something else to take up space. Count the number of raindrops on your bedroom window. Iron the curtains without taking them down. Make a note of the registrations of all passing cars, then email it to the police with an invoice for "Freelance Services". Go to Gaelcon, play board games with strangers, then sulk if you lose. Make an Amazon wishlist in preparation for December. Clean your belly button with vodka.

How could you be bored on a day like today?! There's loads of things to do!

I woke up at 3.30pm today after being out last night and I'm still lounging on my bed in my pyjamas, feel like I've totally wasted the day but it's all graaaaand.

I hate doing nothing on the weekends. Really it's awful. Can't understand people who just want to laze around doing nothing. Tonight I had plans but they were cancelled. So I'm f*cking pissed off and in a massive sulk and quasi suicidal. **** weekends.

To answer your question, walk around and feel sorry for yourself.
