:In the last two weeks my eye has gone blurry, apparently its somethin like a coldsore, so a viral thing(generally condraindicated i think), making the cornea soak up water in the eye its ment to repel. Prob cause immune system down cause of trainin??
One doc said prob not a good idea to do marathon but prob b ok, another doc said don't do it, cause theres no way of knowing.
I'm hopein to do the marathon in under 3hrs which is pushin myself. I did 3 hr 16 min 40 sec last time
My eye seems to be improvin so I think if its a bit better tmrow, I'll go for it, it'd b crushin not to at this stage, but if I really thought it wasn't a good idea i'd prob not. I'm prob not goina b on top form aswell to push it n try n get in in under 3:mad:

Best of luck. I hope it improves enough so that you can run. If it doesn't. don't worry, there'll be many more marathons, but you only have a couple of eyes.

If you do run, get yourself a wrap around pair of sun glasses from a cycle / Triatholon shop would give you some protection from the wind.

Best of luck if you do run.

I reckon I'll do that at the thing in the rds. I seem to be having some bizzare karmic eye thing this week, just spent 5 hrs today with eyes closed, v sore, got some grit r somethin in my bad eye, cleared out in eye n ear hospital. Magic feeling as all became clear again. This ain't normal for me. She reckoned I should be ok for the run, but if the weather stays like this I could use the eye as an excuse:cool:
