+1, be fantastic for the game in PNG (only country in the world with rugby league as national sport) and for the credibility of the international game...

Jaysis, england got out of jail free with that call back...very marginal...

PNG hitting the wall, think Eng will pull way from here...

Final Score: Eng 32 PNG 22

Brilliant stuff from PNG, huge performance, england need to take along hard look at themselves, play like that against the Aussies next week and they'll be filleted.....

    Feckin missed this this morning.

Was it a good performance by PNG or just poor from England or a combination?

I take from the above post that England need to improve a lot to have any kind of chance of progressing after the group stage?

PNG were just hugely focused and committed and they seemed to catch England cold in the first...England turned the screw after the 60 with Danny Maguire making a huge contribution when he came on, their superior fitness level also told...Smith had a pretty good game, but man of the match by a clear Margin was KR/PNG stalwart Stanley Gene...did themselves proud...

England will really need to tighten up their game, they seemed especially weak in midfield with PNG making alot of yardage up the gut..also missed tackle count very high. The Aussies will be licking their lips I reckon...

Just watched it there. Superb first half and PNG really took it to them.

Couldn't hold unfortunately but heads can be held high.
