Are you certain about that ? We have 3 different CREATIVE players at home and each one (VISION:M, V Plus, ZEN) came bundled with CREATIVE video conversion software. I would be surprised if CREATIVE had stopped doing that.

I would expect Media Explorer to contain a launch icon for the converter. In addition, I would also expect it to offer you a convert option for content it cannot play.

I got the 32Gig version last week and it had conversion software with it.

I also have a 16gig Zen and it converts to. So does my Zen V.

I really need to read up on this creditcrunnhtastic recession we are in before I get bit on the ass :D

    <3's Creative.

You should be able to download the software fron the creative site?

    Third one down?

im sure there is plenty of 3rd party video apps that can handle that simple resolution and file conversion

i ordered the 16gb x-fi the other day could only find the 8gb in shops... but I dont really intend to use any software i get with it, I have sony vegas pro which is more than capable of simple video tasks :) and more than enough audio apps ...plug in and play for me :)

also this - http://tversity.com/ - software looks mighty impressive

UPDATE : ive downloaded prism video converter and this works fine to convert to mp4(works fine on my n95) but i still have problems with the xfi... its definitley the resolution as a message pops up CANNOT PLAY VIDEO IN THIS RESOLUTION,so i shall keep plugging away,i also cant get the hang of the creative centrale,by the way i had a zen vision m and this was so simple to use it prompted me to upgrade to the xfi 32g......
