I use Express game 32g 6's for everything - you just need to let the snipe and woodcock out to at least 30/35 yards before firing. The gun has 1/2 annd 3/4 chokes in most of the time.

Sipe 32gr sixes for just about everything the last while. Otherwise Fiocchi or RC in 32gr 5/6.

A nugget of wisdom from the old man : a good shot is a good shot and you'll pick up a kill as long as there's lead and powder in the cartridges. The only exception he ever makes is a couple of Nr2. Legia's in the belt for end of season hares when they get up far and fast on frozen ground or bad cover.
Personally I think he has a point : he's shooting since he's seventeen and he's sixtyfour now and hasn't missed out on a single season and I wish I was half the shot he is on ground game. I've seen the guy picking of hares 4-5 yards from the nose of the dog at 40-50 yards with hare tumbling head over heels and the dog not even coming near a pellet. Not joking now but his mates actually call him "Gus the Hare".

He couldn't hit a 747 with a punt gun if it landed on his head though :D

( Thank flip he hasn't any English and doesn't know about boards or I'd be in a spot of bother )
