Ive been working in IT for a few years and am thinking of getting into project management. Although I have practical experience in projects Id like a qualification to back it up. I saw the Diploma in Applied Project Management by the IPMA in conjuction with UCC. Anyone have any experience of this course?

How well received is it in PM circles, how intensive is it? Would there be a better route to take to move into project management?

(bearing in mind I havent got formal PM experience-Ive lead projects but not under the title of PM- just lead tech)
