Has anyone read the above book? I just finished it and think people in here would get a kick out of it... its really funny and witty but also at times an emotional read, its the story of this guy's teenage/early 20s years as a glam rocker/metaller in the UK. He ends up in squats and in various dodgey bands over the years (every other week advertising in Kerrang! for another member!) Also funny interludes about Metal culture generally and what not, I really enjoyed it anyway a light and fun read if anyone's interested.:)

Never heard of it to be honest, but I'm always on the look out for good books. This sounds funny at least, I'll have to keep an eye out for it.

Yeah read this a couple of years ago. Really enjoyed it. His description of his first time in a guitar shop was hilarious, and familiar!
