I bought a laptop in the US over the summer. I am now trying to open an account on Everest on the same laptop. I am getting a error message saying "Real Money play is forbidden from your locale" , I can only assume this is due to the origin of my laptop. I have, of course, emailed support, but still no answer. Anyone know if there is anything i can do on my end, or is it just not happening?

if so then try to change the date/time locale of your machine - it might be set st US

I'm in work at the minute so can't really f**k around with my pc settings but i suspect this is where you ned to be looking. In control panel/system/advanced/user profiles - there might be a setting to say where you are.
Id deffo check Control panel/regional & language settings too

Sorry bro, that's all I have for you. I presume you've checked all the user settings in everest poker. (just thought i'd ask - you'd be surprised how many people think that compters do everything for you)
Unless theres a setting in your BIOS. When you turn on your lappy, press F4 (this might be different for yours - check what it says when you first turn on you pc) to get into you BIOS settings.

apparantly there is "a history of irregular activities" on my account. bearing in mind I have never had a cent on Everest this is a bit bizarre. Can only assume this relates to when i was in the states over the summer and originally downloaded the software.

    oh well...
