Hi, I have sky this last number of years, and I am now realising there is packages I hardly ever watch. I logged on to the Sky website to see can I remove them, but all I can seem to do is add more bloody channels!
Is there any way possible to remove the channels via the sky website, or do you have to call them?
    Thanks in advance
    Patrick

Last time I made a change I had to call them personally (they will only talk to the account holder, my wife wasn't good enough) give them my account number and then they removed the subscription channels.

I think Sky make reduction of packages and closure of contracts as awkward as possible.

I'm pretty sure you have no other choice but to call them and be prepared to be on hold for at least 20mins and you will have to stick to your guns as they will probably put you through to some sales rep who will try and convince you that you or your family need the packages that you don't want.

Thanks for all the quick replies, I think I'll call them now instead, might be handier.
I know its only 3 small packages totalling €6 a month, but over the year it amounts to €72 for channels I never watch.
    Thanks again,
    Patrick

I've chopped and changed packages several times over the last year. Had full Sky movies, dropped half of it, swapped different mixes, temporarily had sky sports, canceled it...all sorts. Never had any trouble doing so over the phone, and the change was on my telly in minutes. I've rarely been on hold more then 2 minutes either. I think this is Sky's real strong point.

When I was with NTL EVERYTHING was a hassle and was almost impossible to get through.
