I just flicked on the TV and to my delight the Irish 7 day EPG is now live for all 4 TV stations and 4 Radio stations. Until today it was just a now and a maybe next.

Excellent stuff. Pity I can't enjoy it too! :)

Good to see things progressing slightly though.

Has been like that for some timefor some reason the Humax HDCI 2000 boxes have always had more than now next.... when other had nothing at all.

Noticed it on the Technomate 6900 about a week ago. Populates nicely.

Hi STB, you got Technomate 6900 Super?

On Technomate 6900 Super can you mix DVB-T and DVB-S channels inside the favorite list?

No I have the black one, pre Super.

But the answer is the same and is no. Unless I missed something terrribly easy.

All Satelites can be used to form the favs. But not terrestrial and sat together.

Likewise with recall button for last channel displayed. You cant switch between sat and terestrial that way. You have to manually go to the sat and then back to the terrestrial, but it remembers the last channel you were viewing on the sat and displays that first. That it is still on x transponder when viewing terrestrial can effect whatever you have on the loop through unfortunately. This is pretty important to remember when recording something off terrestrial thinking that you can view all transponders on the loop through because you are not watching satelite. Not so, still live!

The terrestrial tuner is very good however.....solid reception. Better than any standlone DTT receivers that I have tried and tested (including the Hummy 2000T)

Couple of questions STB, just looking at your box on the web. My plan was similar to many others. Ditch sky and get Freesat in when the PVR comes out next month. To keep RTE etc. I got my TV guy out today to improve the pic. I am only about 10-15 miles from the dundalk mast so he reckons I should pick up the digital signal no problem, even with the aerial in my loft. He is going to check it next week when he gets the mvision combo.

With the box you have, will you get all the channels that free sat has? e.g. BBC HD and ITV HD (I guess not?). Do you pick up other HD channels? What is the EPG like compared tothe Freesat or Sky?

It is possible to mix and match the DTT with Sat channels on the technomate 6900 on a favorite EPG list. The boxes treats the DTT channels as a separate 'satellite' which can be added to an existing favorite list. The downside is that while you get the 7 day EPG on DTT you can only get 'now and next' on the Astra 28E channels (BBC1, BBC 2, UTV etc.). I've Astra 19E (full 7 day EPG for many channels), Astra 28E and the four Irish DTTs happily mixed in order of preference (using a disque switch for the satellites). Pic attached.

That is great being able to have both on the one EPG.

so there is no way to get a full 7 day epg by mixing the dtt and the astra2d satelitte ?

Not at the moment but it seems likely that there will be patches etc. in the not too distant future. There is already beta version software which works with the Clarke-Tech combo. Fingers crossed.

Arrrggggg! you got my hopes up for a split second there :D I have the clarke tech combo up and running and its great. As with the TM 6900, you can mix and match the DTT and Sat channels in the fav lists (afaik it basically *is* a 6900 internally). Interestingly I am currently (last few days) getting no DTT epg at all - can someone confirm it is being broadcast?
